Introduction

This will be a blog to discuss what happens in the practice of law in Houston. I am a solo lawyer that works in several different areas of the law and in many different counties around Houston.

I work in the Family courts, the Criminal courts, the Probate courts, the Juvenile and even the Civil courts. On top of being a lawyer in these courts, I am also a judge in the City of Pearland.

As for this first entry, I am a little under the weather today with a bad toothache. Although I am set for trial in Dallas tomorrow for a DWI trial, I am am going to have to cancel because I have an appointment with my dentist at 9am to fix the pain.

I would much rather be in trial then to hear the drill tomorrow.
